Turbocharger performance assessment

The next generation of turbochargers for automotive applications will use new technologies such as water-cooled aluminium turbine housings and plastic compressor covers. Simultaneously, these new technologies should further improve turbocharger performance. As one can expect, these new developments require elaborate validation and proper design analysis.
