Influence of mixing on the induction time measurements in the microfluidics

The graduation project aims at the study of the influence of mixing on the induction time for the crystallization of model pharmaceutical compounds in microfluidic tool. It is believed that agitation influences the nucleation kinetics, which can be essential parameter to analyse at an industrial scale. While the usage of microfluidics paves the convenient as well as the efficient way for the induction time measurement. As its advantages have been scientifically proven over the conventional method of induction time measurement. Therefore the combination of microfluidic technique with mixing will enable the better prediction of nucleation rate at an industrial scale.
