Integrated design of travelling microwave reactor

Every year, flared or burned methane contributes significantly to global warming. Methane is vented or flared, because current reactors are not capable to cost effectively convert methane from fluctuating sources to products. In this master thesis, the applicator of the novel travelling microwave reactor is designed to convert methane. In this applicator microwaves and methane come together to form more valuable hydrocarbons.
